Middle school science students study chemistry, biology, geology, and ecology. These skills are strengthened when they can be reinforced with real-world problems.
At TPSA, we are lucky enough to have hundreds of acres of woods and multiple bodies of water to explore and observe; this project will allow us to apply what we are learning in the classroom to answer questions about our environment. We will be performing multiple tests on different water sources on campus to determine the cleanliness and safety of the water. Students will test pH, water visibility, oxygen levels, microorganisms, and other factors.
