Effective reading and math intervention is critical to student progress and ensuring the success of every student. Your generosity will immediately increase functionality while adding a fresh face to our newly redesigned, research based intervention program this year. By generously supporting our intervention classroom, you will be helping each of our students build a positive growth mindset, find successes, and increase academic achievement at their pace, ultimately closing the gap between them and their peers. The portable cart, storage bins, and manipulatives will support students as I deliver intervention support to them in their classroom. New flexible seating options, a warm and inviting floor rug for hands-on work, uplifting décor, materials and storage bins will enhance the learning space to be conducive to both early childhood students K-2, and 3-5th grade students who will come to my room for intensive intervention in reading, math or both, on a regular basis. I will be serving Tier 2 and 3 students as well as those receiving services for Title One and ELL. Making a flexible and attractive learning environment is a critical component in fostering eager work ethics and a comfortable, welcoming environment to keep students looking forward to their opportunity to grow and progress!
