Children of all ages need to be able to move and wiggle, and to have the option to do so in the classroom. Currently in our classroom we do not have anything but huge rectangle tables. Adding a few different areas in our classroom will allow choice and comfort to their learning environment.
I would love to be able to see our kids have choices in where they will work when we return to school. These products will enable us to make sure we follow the required spacing and safety for COVID-19 precautions and supporting social emotional health & wellness. Upon receiving these wiggle tools, the students will be able to have choices that suit their emotions or feelings for the day. Ultimately this will help them be able to self-regulate. In this day and age, our kids need the opportunity in a safe place to learn those self-regulation skills. This project will easily accomplish that. Furthermore, movement aids in wellness, including mental health!
