I teach kindergarten. I chose several hands on items; for example, the counting bears, building letter blocks, and magnetic wands. All of these provide the students with hands on opportunities that would help them be more involved in the lesson and more likely to retain the concept. Also, I chose the headphones because we use technology everyday in the classroom for I-Ready. For safety, its important the students do not share headphones with each other. I included encouraging books to help the students when they get discouraged.
These materials will help the students be more involved and have positive experience in the classroom.
