This year, we are becoming an AVID school to help children begin the path to college. One of the most important skills they can learn is organization, especially in this fast-moving world.Â
Little second graders can often get overwhelmed with the task of organization and planning. We are requesting folders for different subject areas. For example, the science folder may contain a journal where students can record notes and draw pictures to help explain a science experiment, as well as a list of science terms with definitions and pictures. We are also requesting pencil boxes so they have all they need in a handy place.
