I teach 4th grade in a Title I school where most of the students are socially and economically disadvantaged. My classroom consist of students who are majority below grade level and the parents in the home work full-time. With this disadvantaged some students lack the supplies they need for school and often times their parents aren't able to provide them with the necessities for school. I desire for each of my students to have their own personal supplies not just because of the pandemic we are currently in, but because it helps them feel a sense of belonging when they have what they need. My plan and goal is for every student to have what they need in order to learn and be successful.
