Virtual learning has made solving math problems problematic for our 5th grade students. We have tried to use online tools such as computer whiteboards/chalkboards, but it is very time consuming and frustrating for them to try to multiply big numbers, fractions and decimals using a computer mouse.
Providing students with physical whiteboards will ease some of their frustration and make math more fun and engaging in a virtual setting. Student whiteboards will also allow us teachers to more efficiently and accurately check student work so we can make sure they are engaged, practicing, and growing.
Help us help our students feel successful during this unsure virtual time. Thank you!
