Every year starts with new supplies, but not every year is like this one. Students will not be able to share with their neighbors. If every student has the same supplies, no one will feel left out or worry if they forgot something. What becomes a problem is the fact that sharp pencils never seem to last, erasers seem to disappear, and highlighters seem to run dry. When something goes awry, students know that they can quietly ask to borrow a new marker, new eraser, pencil, and paper. Even though they are great about doing this, this year it is not allowed. If the students have a supply of their own or a safe amount for me to replace without the need to return, students can work without worry. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether they have materials for class.

About my class
