Kindergarten students love books and learn so much through read-aloud. Students need books that are mirrors and windows. This means they need to be able to see themselves in books as well as look through a window into the lives of others. I want all students in my classroom to feel valued and see themselves in our library collection. This group of books will help teach my students empathy and caring for others. I believe that books are meant to be read, so we go through a lot of books in my classroom!
