I love teaching novel studies! As a class, we read books together. Throughout the reading, we study the book’s characters, setting, plot, etc. We also review reading comprehension strategies to better understand the book as we read. At the end of some novels, we watch a movie based off of the book and complete a Venmo Diagram to compare and contrast the book to the movie. Teaching and showing a love for reading and learning will help my students as they grow. These books are fun to read and provide many neat class projects!
