With a subscription to TIME For Kids and Scholastic News magazines, my students will be able to read high interest nonfiction articles that are current. These magazines will be used as a resource for my students to utilize for projects and will help students meet their quarterly reading goals. Students will be able to keep their copy and bring their magazines home. Classrooms will have limited resources that can be shared in the upcoming year. A class subscription will serve as common text for reading class discussions as well as for writing projects and each child will have their own copy.
