Students are at school for nearly eight hours, that is a long time to sit in an upright chair, especially for a 6-year-old! We will use this area rug for community circle time, brain breaks, calendar time, share time, silent reading and many other activities. Kids need to have floor time at all ages to meet sensory needs and stretch those muscles!
An area rug provides students their own spot, improves spatial awareness skills and will make our classroom a warm, inviting environment to learn. Thank you for your consideration!
