As a first year teacher, I am gathering supplies to provide hands on and engaging lessons. With COVID-19 in our midst, students will need their own manipulatives in hand, and when not feasible, large magnetic manipulatives. Students will experience a hands-on learning experience whether in class or via zoom with the assistance of these products. The magnetic manipulatives will be matched with virtual manipulatives for students learning from home. Providing an equitable learning experience will be my priority whether the students are in my classroom or learning from home. The materials requested will assist in this process.
