Being a special education teacher, I regularly interact with my students and their families to hold IEP meetings and monitor progress. Doing this is often difficult without the proper technology. Teaching remotely will be different this year. Students will face many challenges. I want to make sure there are no gaps in their learning because of the pandemic. My students will be able to attend meetings virtually as well as have access to highly rigorous educational videos created by their own teachers. They will also be able to contact me at any time if they need help.
