I believe it is so important that all students feel represented and connect with literature in some way. I read aloud to my students almost every day and am eager to provide them with a more diverse selection of books. In addition to read alouds, my students also get many chances throughout the day to browse my classroom library and enjoy books of their choice. These books will be one way where we can celebrate the diversity within the classroom and ensure all students are comfortable and feel welcome each day. By donating to this project, you can help students reflect who they truly are while also learning and understanding more about others.

About my class
