The books that I have chosen will allow my students to gain more knowledge about our diverse world. These texts will offer insight into the experience of children their own age. The students will be able to make connections with the story characters and/ or events. They will be able to respond to questions about what they are noticing, thinking, feeling, and wondering. These stories will help to inspire my students as they become strong independent readers and writers. My students and I truly appreciate any donations that are made.
