These picture books will expand my classroom library to include rich texts that my students will be able to read regularly and learn more about the world. It is important to me that all learners love reading and that begins with findings stories that we can connect to, that inspire us and help us imagine. By adding these books to my library my students will be able to see themselves in the books they are reading as well as learn about how people in our community and our world are both similar and different. I believe that through this learning we can inspire compassion and connection.

About my class
