Hi everyone! Last year was my first year teaching and what a year it was! Leaving the pandemic aside, I walked into my classroom space and found white walls, cracks and tears in my paint, and nothing to add color with!
My students want to add some fun, excitement, and color to their days! It is important for all learners to have an adequate classroom environment, but within self-contained special education classrooms, the success of our entire day can be the result of first impressions!
Texture, color, depth, and variety all lend themselves to learning. A warm learning environment is something every student deserves!
