My students are amazing! I teach special education students how to be better readers and writers. Most of my students having learning disabilities and dyslexia. All of the items on the list will help set a positive learning environment. I like a room with a lot of supplies for those students who do not have their own, but I also like a clean room. I don't want my students to worry about getting sick, so I like it to be cleaned as much as possible. And I like them to be able to do their work, even if it means they need to borrow pencils and paper. And I use Teacher Pay Teachers often, because it is such an amazing place for teachers to buy so many materials. In an ideal world, we can make our own materials. But the reality is that teachers don't have time to create materials that the students will use to learn. Since my students are well-below grade level, I purchase many items from Teacher Pay Teachers, because it is perfect for their learning needs. Please help support my special needs class in the improvement of their reading and writing skills.
