The rolling easel will be a wonderful addition at carpet time when we are learning letters, numbers, shapes, or colors! Students will be able to take turns coming up to the easel and learn in a more hands on way. Hands on learning is a more effective teaching strategy than anything else. The emotions carpet will assist my students in regulating their emotions. Sometimes you get students have trouble identifying emotions. This will help them be able to express what emotion they are feeling at any given time by coming to the feelings carpet and letting me know what they are feeling. It will also be a great way to check in with my students throughout the day to see how they are feeling.
