These outstanding 24 second graders who are still recovering from Sandy and live in a low income area. We have a multicultural classroom with children who are from many different countries and have extremely interesting ideas and creative minds that love to share their stories through writing and drawing. I would love to give them the opportunity to use paint and other materials to bring their ideas to life; I would love to allow the children the freedom to express themselves and cultures through art. I want to give each one a special place to admire their masterpieces and for their friends to appreciate and admire the creativity each one has as individuals. I want to create that refrigerator in my classroom where they inspire to have their art work displayed.
