We are heading back to school during a very scary and confusing time, and I want to reassure parents that I am looking for ways to keep my students safe and to keep the spread of germs to a minimum. I am planning to remove the cubbies in my classroom and I would like to give each student a storage container to be able to store bookbags, coats, lunch boxes and other items they bring from home. These storage containers will only be used by the individual students each day and cleaned at the end of the school day. This will allow each student's things to be kept away from another student and their things.
With the current situation and continuous spread of COVID, one of the things I can do to help keep my students safe is to provide a place to store their things during the school day.
