Covid-19 placed a hardship on our students and our classrooms. For this project, I would like to provide my students with books that support diversity. Books that my students can relate to. Research shows that there are many psychological and educational benefits to storytelling! The storytelling board will give my students an enhanced imagination, improved vocabulary, and better communication skills. I am requesting books which will provide my students with stories that they can relate to which will enhance their love for reading. The bean bag chairs will provide my students with comfy, flexible seating that they can enjoy when they have free time to enjoy their books. Finally, research studies have shown that color can influence level of attention and may even enhance memory performance! I am requesting a color printer which will provide my students colorful practice, projects and assignments that they would love! Help me make my classroom more effective and welcoming during this pandemic!
