Every child will be given a pedometer and a number of steps (daily) to get from destination A to destination Z. An example, pretend you are at school, take 2,000 steps and go onto the google site to see where you end up. You will learn that you ended at the Milwaukee Art Museum. When you click on the link there will be a lesson, prerecorded, about the destination with pictures and maps. The next day you will leave from that site to see the next thing. It might be 3,000 steps for the North Point Water Tower or 1,500 to see a historic church!
Maps will be marked so the kids can track their progress and journals will be kept to track steps.
