I am requesting sensory tools my students require to learn self-regulation strategies and have positive interactions during inclusion times. These include weighted vest, fidgets, stools, footrests and more. Students on the autism spectrum require the use of sensory routines and strategies to learn to regulate their emotions. These items will support more time with typically developing peers and lessons that will last a lifetime! These materials will allow us to explore and regulate emotions during social skills lessons. Communication and personal interactions are difficult for students with ASD. The items requested will support a safe and secure environment to grow in these areas. Students will be included in the creation of this sensory rich classroom! Please consider us!
