One of the biggest projects during our school year is the publication of a book about Westward Expansion. Students are encouraged to add text features (pictures, diagrams, pull tabs, maps, etc.) to help their reader learn not only from the text they've written, but also from the creativity they've put into the features on the page. In order to encourage this kind of work, students need a number of materials to choose from including paper, stickers, materials to manipulate and build/create, and the tools to put it all together into their book. And of course, all of these materials need a place to go in our classroom! With the products requested, we'll keep everything organized to ensure it lasts and is accessible to all.

About my class
