If you've ever wondered what drives a teacher, take a look into a kindergarten classroom. The excitement and empowerment they feel as a result of the learning and new skills they've acquired is "it" and whatever a teacher can do to make that happen is exactly what she sets her sights on. For this teacher, the current target is headphones. This year, as a result of COVID-19, my students will have their own classroom device (a Chromebook) that they will use to further their learning. The lessons I have planned and the assignments I have created in the Seesaw platform are such that students will be recording videos and audio to show all they know (we all know how much 5 year-olds love to talk about themselves!). Additionally, I have spent many hours creating lessons that are interactive and further learning with a multitude of video and audio supports. My students will access these pre-recorded mini-lessons during independent work time as they rotate through literacy centers, essentially working with me "twice" during those rotations. Your support will help to make this happen! Thank you!
