Not only will they have fun reading Harry Potter, but these books will help keep students reading! Students have been learning from home through distance learning for over a year. These books will ensure a fun start to the year now that they will be back in person. Students will be practicing their reading and comprehension but there will also be integrated writing, math, science, and social emotional lessons. Not to mention the possibilities for classroom discussions are endless. These students deserve a magical start their 5th grade year after the year they have been through. I am hoping to provide that to them with an engaging Harry Potter unit.
