The use of read alouds has been proven to be an effective tool to help students make connections and spark deeper conversations. I will be using these books as a means to teach social justice, empathy, and problem-solving skills to my students during our virtual community circles. Distance Learning is our new reality, and I need to find a way to make meaningful connections with my new students. The digital pen and whiteboard easel will provide me with the tools I need to help me teach more effectively from home.
