These materials will really help all my students be able to recognize their differences and create accurate representations of who they are when we do monthly self portraits. They will be able to use dolls from different cultures to use during dramatic play and have puzzles that showcase how we are all different. Children learn so much through books. The books that I have chosen will be read aloud throughout the year and help students with important lessons such as being who they are, no matter what gender, and standing up for one another.
