I plan to put the easel next to my whole group area for students to easily see and access. Having an easel will help demonstrate skills of reading, writing, phonics and math as well as help keep the necessary materials accessible. The easel will hold anchor charts and pocket charts. Concepts taught will be displayed for continual reference throughout the teaching day. For virtual learning, it will be easy to record whole group session and post for my virtual learners.
Students need visual aids to better understand the concepts taught. This easel will support their learning through various hands on activities including whole group, small group as well as independent work.
