The equipment we are aiming to buy with this project will help us in three different areas. It will provide instrument supplies such as reeds and trumpet mutes. It will also provide percussion instruments and an organizational cart. Finally, it will provide a speaker to allow for playback of professional recordings during class as well as tuning drones/pitches. My school district does supply many instruments for my class, but I do not have a budget to purchase additional supplies and instruments. Normally I end up buying these kinds of additional instruments and supplies for my class with my own money, but this project will allow me to serve more students more efficiently.
