My students come to school to learn and be loved. I work at a school where 98% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. These children come from homes where they have to grow up too fast. I want my classroom to be a safe place for them where they can not only learn but know that they are safe to be who they are. I want my students to know that they are loved.
