My school district recently announced that PreK will be going back to in-person school full time in the fall. Because my classroom was not originally designed for PreK, we do not have a sink!
Trips to the bathroom to wash our hands are very time-consuming, but frequent hand washing is necessary for all of my students to stay safe in school during a pandemic. Having a sink in our room will allow us to take necessary precautions to stop the spread of any germs, while not sacrificing time for learning, play, and fun!
