Kindergarten is a time of exploration with learning and using materials for the first time. This project assures that students have access to materials at home through distant learning. Some of the materials students will have access to are basic needs like crayons, scissors, pencils, glue, and boxes to put their materials in. However, students will also be able to use materials the help them a lot during online instruction like dry erase markers, white boards, and manipulatives for counting.
Students will be able to have access to materials at home that they would have been able to use inside the classroom, without putting pressure on families.
School supplies are hard for some parents to buy in regular circumstances, the pandemic of Covid-19 has made money even more tight. Students should not have to sacrifice learning as part of the pandemic, when they can have access to materials through this project.
