In today's classroom, there are so many opportunities to engage learners through the use of technology. The curriculum we have adopted for Math has a very strong online component. Having a laptop to connect to my projector will allow all students access to this digital material plus so much more. Students love to use instructional technology, especially when it's interactive. A laptop provides this opportunity for all students. It is motivating, fun and necessary when presenting online learning material. My students will be able to watch instructional videos related to the topics we are studying. There are so many amazing learning sites for all subject areas that students just love to use. A printer will nicely complement this laptop so that we are able to print material, as some students need to have a hard copy of material. I would love to be able to use this technology to enhance the learning of my students as I believe a multimedia approach to teaching is key in today's classroom.
