As a school counselor, it is my job to assure students have at least one person in the school they can rely on. Whether that is the principal, a teacher, me, or another staff member, they are in need of just ONE person who can make an impact in their lives. It just takes one!
With these tools, I am better able to teach students the best ways to handle difficult situations, process feelings/emotions, and build up their self-esteem when it comes to making friends or dealing with tough situations. Although lessons may not look the same, doing guidance lessons will still serve the same purpose! To equip students with the material they need to go out into this world.
I also have some back up tools/supplies just in case there are students' families who cannot afford to get them. These are just a start and in the future I hope to get more! Thank you so much in advance for everything!
