I am requesting the suggested mentor textbooks for a Reading and Writing Summer Camp. Some of the books are in English, others in Spanish, and/or bilingual and are great resources to use with Jennifer Serravallo Reading and Writing Strategies. These strategies can benefit all levels of readers and writers from either face to face or remote learning instruction. They will also make perfect additions to any classroom library because they represent diverse cultural backgrounds. I'm also requesting small book bins so each student from my two classes can keep their books and reading journals in one place.
These books will inspire, and continue to develop my students' love of reading, a gift that will last a lifetime.
Unfortunately, our school does not have an available budget right now. As a result, this is my first ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ project to keep our library collection up-to-date to meet my students' reading needs and interests. With your support of this project, we will be one step closer to have a great library with great mentor texts for my students. These books will bring so much excitement and will continue to cultivate their love of reading. Thank you for supporting my students and our class library!
