We have little to no technology in our classroom. Nearly all my students are from low-income families and technology is non-existent. The printer we currently have works sparingly and often times classroom activities are not completed in a timely manner.
With a new printer the students will be able to simply focus on the academic assignment at hand, and not whether their technology is going to work.
Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
