In the SPARK program, I primarily teach math. I often hear students say things like, "math is hard", "I can't do it", "why do I need math" and other similar phrases. This is extremely common and can be changed by providing students with concrete examples.
By surrounding my students with literature that emphasizes the importance of math, I can help them develop a love for math and a growth mindset. I need your help to supply my students with a math specific library. These books are about engineers, practical application and most importantly empowering female mathematicians. These can make a massive difference in the lives of my students.
