I want my students to have access to books that act as windows into other cultures, many of which they encounter on a daily basis. I believe that the most important gift I can give to my students is a love of reading. By having a large selection of diverse books at their fingertips, they will have the opportunity to explore and experiment while building their reading stamina. They will be better prepared for college, but better than that, they will learn to love reading. I hope you will join me and help make it come true. I want my students to see themselves reflected in the literature.
