The hands-on learning materials will be used in independent work task boxes in the classroom. Because of the Covid-19 social distancing requirements, my students can no longer use shared materials at learning centers. But it is still vitally important to continue to meet their unique learning styles while keeping everyone safe and healthy. Instead of the students going to learning centers in the classroom, I will be bringing the activities to them at their desk. Each educational product purchased will be used in an independent task box that will be assigned to a student each week. At the end of the week, the materials will be cleaned and assigned to a new student.
Students with special needs need access to multisensory materials that they can touch and manipulate. These task boxes will provide the hands on practice that they need to master skills on their level while still having fun and keeping everyone safe.
