Due to the pandemic and the restrictions provided by my district for singing on campus, I have been exploring additional avenues for creating music in a safe environment. In the event when singing is not appropriate, Boomwackers will be utilized. Although it is not the same as singing, it will allow the students to participate as a whole ensemble. We will use these pitched tubes to perform, sight read, and compose music.
Arts Education is more important now than ever! We must keep our students active and engaged through every musical experience possible.
