We love paperless! We have piloted using Rocketbook pages with some of my students this school year and I will implement this with all classes in 2021. They use the Rocketbook app to scan and turn in all assignments. They send a copy to themselves and to me, so that they always have a copy of their work. Students have been positive about using this technology and very responsible with their materials.
Out of two hundred students, one of my students already had her own Rocketbook. This program in my classes will help students organize better, keep track of their own work and learning, and provide them practice with a new technology that they would otherwise not know about or use. It's simple, effective and personal.
Students will be assigned Rocketbook pages and/or notebooks for use during the school year. One class will be assigned a notebook and pen individually, the rest of my students will receive one to two pages of Rocketbook paper from an unbound notebook and a pen to use. They will be provided refills for their pens as needed. We will discuss the use of Rocketbook in the classroom once per quarter to get student feedback.
