Working with young students via distance learning can be a challenge! Especially young, preschool-age students who are not used to online learning. The purpose of having these manipulatives is to give students another way to learn new words. During each session, I usually have a book that is related to a theme that we are learning. I also present students with music and games to keep them entertained. I have found recently that supplementing these resources with toys or objects keeps students interested for up to 30 minutes at a time. Your time and consideration are greatly appreciated! Have a wonderful day.
