These books will be used in our classroom and will give my students opportunities to see themselves in the literature. My classroom is very diverse and it would be great to put books in their hands they can relate to. I also help to give them books from differing background so they can learn about others too. Please help me help them get access to books they can relate to. Unfortunately, the current books on our shelves do not represent them enough. I work in a high needs building where resources at home are limited for my students.
