I teach Physical Education at a school that does not have an auditorium. As a result, the gym is not available to me when there are assemblies, presentations, movie days, etc. I instead have to teach in the classroom when this happens. A portable speaker would make my classroom lesson more fun and interesting. Music can motivate my students to participate in the activities and I can use it as a start/stop signal during class time. The students would appreciate the music when they are completing their written work as well.
