Research has shown that implementing flexible seating, students have had improved grades, happier and engaged, and an increase level of participation and thoughtful conversations.
Flexible seating provides a learning environment that gives students choices in what kind of learning space works best for them. It helps them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking.
The seating will be used for the students to have multiple options on how they choose to do their work each day. Having choices allows them to stay engaged throughout the entire school year.
