My 4th and 5th grade students are at an exciting stage of growth and discovery. They are developing their critical thinking skills, learning to express themselves effectively, and exploring the world
In my ELA and social studies classes, students are engaged in a variety of activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. They are learning to analyze complex texts, develop well-supported arguments, and communicate their ideas effectively.
During writers workshop, students write creatively, receiving feedback from peers and developing their writing voices. In vocabulary building, students learn new words daily, using games, activities, and real-world examples to reinforce understanding. Also, students engage in respectful, thought-provoking discussions, developing their communication and critical thinking skills.
