The vision for this project is to make available Apple iPad Pro technology to drive student data analytics. Students will have the opportunity to use technology in small groups to take learning surveys, skill assessments, and interest inventories to identify for students individual learning styles, key subject interest, and critical areas for skill development. Obtaining this information from a student center perspective gives students and teachers key information and insights to help them tap into their unique learning paths. Once students have knowledge of how they learn they have greater self advocacy and self determination abilities. Harnessing the power of this dynamic technology students will be more engaged in the learning process. Students will have the information to fully engage in the development of their individual education plans (I.E.P). Increased student engagement increases student learning proficiency. Student that have insight into their interests, learning styles, and unique abilities have greater voice and ownership of their learning process. Helping students tap into self advocacy is necessary for students to overcome barriers to student achievement.
Through the use of the Apple iPad Pro I want to use the dynamic touch interface to capture Information from students about their individual challenges to instruction, thus helping students to self advocate and craft student centered instruction.
